My cats have been amusing me more than lately with their antics.  Probably because we just moved  which makes them bonkers…..but they inspired a few valentines I made this year.

Tsubasa is an all white kitty who is just insane.  Caprina is a Calico and the nicest Kitty in the entire world.  She makes up for Tsubasa who just provides entertainment.

I like this one because Tsubasa would not complain if you tied a balloon around here.  She would accept it like it was there all her life.  I doubt Caprina would try to tag along.  She would probably just hide under the bed if I started tying balloons on cats

But what is a pet card without poo!  And Tsubasa is Queen of pooping outside the box and Caprina is Queen of having a Coon-Tail!

Tsubasa is extremely cantankerous in her old age.
(I’m not sure thats how you spell cantankerous but I would prefer to think it is….)

She will mostly hiss and be angry at people.  Except from 6am-6:30am where she purrs since I’m about to get up to feed them.

This is my favorite!  Because it seems so random.  lol

I sent this to my Lito & Lita(Grandparents) because I make them tortillas whenever I visit.  My grandmother’s arthritis makes it hard for her to roll them out.  So now whenever I visit, I make!  Best Granddaughter EVER!

So I’ve been using the pasta maker attachment to my Kitchen Aid like gangbusters.  Fresh pasta is amazing and I cannot get enough of it.  Especially made with Fancy Bob’s Red Mill Flour and  fresh farm eggs.  BUT I always underestimate how long it will take.  For some reason, I always think its only 20 minutes, when in reality its like 2 hours.  So of course, when I made the pasta for Evelyn she ended up trying to stab me out of hunger

Atleast I think I have learned my lesson this time.  Maybeeeeeeee heh

Man, Eliza won’t quit hounding me about the dentist issue.

Ev and I are not really party people per say….mostly we sit in a corner near whatever food is there and munch munch munch.  I don’t think I’m comfortable at parties which is probably when I host them I spend most of my time in the kitchen.

I think I like the idea of dinner parties more than parties.  Probably because there is better food.

This is actually what happened at one instance when Ev and I were invited to a shing-ding.(AND Calling a party shing-ding is a sign you don’t belong at one lol)

I drew this for a bridal shower that was thrown for my sister.  They wanted recipe cards donated and my recipe was “New Years Pancakes” mmmmmm.  Every Jan 1st, Mr.Phi and I eat pancakes all day to celebrate.  Its a fun tradition and holy crapoli, pancakes all day! I dies now!!  We here is the recipe for all you foodies

NEW YEARS BUTTERMILK PANCAKES!! HA-ZAHH!

2 Cup Flour                        2 C Buttermilk

2tsp Baking soda                   2TBsp Sugar

1tsp Salt                           1tsp Vanilla

2 eggs(litely beat em!)            1/2 C Sour Cream

*Mix all dry ingredients, Then Add wet. May have to add more buttermilk but this is ok cuz what else are you going to do with it? Drink it?! Ew, heck no!!  You want mixture to be more watery than clump.  Feel free to add chopped fruits if thats how you roll.  Personally I’m an au naturale kind of lady.  Slap on a buttered griddle and pop dem pancakes in your mouth.  Repeat!!

So I did this comic a few weeks before Xmas, but I guess better late than never on putting it up rofl!!!

Evelyn actually got me a wonderful assortment of facial creams.  I’d love to see a comic of the story of her obtaining those.  I assure you it was hilarious.  I did send her an assortment of cookies like I usually do according to her threats & demands.  I remember from the previous year to not include too many fruitcake cookies.  I actually do not even like fruitcake cookies but so many people like them that I feel I should make them.  I have now decided this is a stupid reason to make something and will now just make cookies I like.  Like these ones

A while back I had to kill time.  I would get off from my cheese shop job 3 hours earlier than Mr.Phi got off from work.  We carpooled since his work was a stone’s throw away from mine.  I would go to the Santa Monica library which is a great library but their parking sucks ballz.  They charge 50 cents per 15 minutes, i thinkz.  And then there are parking meters surrounding the library which cost even more.  So I would park a couple of blocks away in a neighborhood with no parking restrictions(yes places do exist in the parking hell known as LA)

So I parked and started walking.  Trying not to trip on the huge amount of homeless people.  I always think the population of Santa Monica is 81% homeless/9% UCLA students/ 8.5% Commuters(a la Mr.Phi& me)/1% crazyrichpeeps  So as I’m walking & I meet up with some teenagers all drunk at 4 in the afternoon and taking turns drinking from a 2 liter bottle of  soda(uh huh) They stumble by me, looking me up and down, then sputter out a “hey”.  The incident made me feel a lil good to know that drunk teenagers of different sexes find me attractive. Yay me!

Since I am no longer living in LA, I have to depend on the kindness of others.  So when I was visiting, I of course stayed a night at Evelyn’s and we had our first slumber party.  It was hella cool.  We got ice cream and popcorn and stayed up late watchin movies.  But when we got to bed, Evelyn made us sleep under 500 blankets.

It actually was pretty comfy!  I usually toss and turn and I think it made me get a better rest lol

So as some of you know, I moved to SF and we are living in a hotel for the moment since it is paid for. Wheeeeee  Anywho, I was all sorts of excited when I heard there would be a free breakfast buffet included.  Visions of waffles, eggs, sausages floated thru my noggin!! But when I ran down to the buffet, there was not a waffle to be seen.  Just pre-packaged bagels, some yogurts, and some raisin bran!! What the hell?!!

As you can see I have destroyed the hotel.  We had to go to Millbrae Pancake House the next day cuz I started going into sausages withdrawl which is never pretty….

Evelyn and I had the most expensive Lollipops of our life at LA Mill here in Los Angeles.  I think LA Mill has $38 coffee which Mr.Phi keeps threatening to try!  He is a mad man.  Back to the Lollis, they explode in your mouth.  They are more like chocolates with liquid inside on a stick.
